Founded on industry experience and integrity.
After several years as a litigation consultant, studying under well-known litigation consultants and Bay Area builders, Gregg de Haan founded his own firm.
Why the firm exists
Built for the challenges of the building trade.
The building trade faces many challenges: crew coordination, tight schedules, adverse building environments, fiscal constraints, and challenging design, which often lead to construction defects. With those challenges in mind, de Haan & Associates Construction Consulting was established. The firm is based in Walnut Creek, California.
Today the firm is a full-service forensic construction consulting practice, providing investigation, research, and litigation services for the construction industry. We are retained by attorneys, insurance carriers, building owners, homeowner associations, and contractors in California, Arizona, and Montana.

Gregg is the founder and principal of de Haan & Associates Construction Consulting. His primary role is to lead field investigations, gather field data, attend expert meetings, mediations and arbitrations, prepare field testing data for trial, and testify at trial as an expert witness retained by owners and builders.
